GATEWAY TO CHINATOWN: COLORS OF LIGHT

Colors of Light by Josh Sarantitis is a mural painting located on the edge of Chinatown along Vine Street. The mural shows movement from past to future, and it makes me think of how the perception of the Asian American community has evolved from my childhood until now. The composition and movement guiding our eyes from left to right remind me of the mindfulness that goes behind transitions like in our PSA project.
