At the end of Paris Fashion Week, the luxury designer brand Balenciaga closed out with a ten-minute film by The Simpsons, in which the characters modeled the latest collection. I enjoyed hearing about this as I thought of it as a quite strategic move. Through such promotional video, not only would Balenciaga get a ton of attention but would also build their brand as major disrupters in the fashion sphere – bringing humour to something viewed so seriously.
