Lynda Benglis in “Boundaries”

Lynda Benglis is a sculptor who pioneered “a form of abstraction in which each work is the result of materials in action.” Her work reminded me of our discussion of abstraction in class, specifically as her techniques of pouring latex, wax, and different plastics to create sculptures reminded me of how Jackson Pollock also relied on this motion to paint his own creations.
