This past weekend I was visiting New York, and stopped by the Vessel, a giant honeycomb-like building with stairs that are built to be connected to look like a hexagon. I have previously seen pictures of it through friends, but viewing it in person was truly a sight to see. However, they were not allowing guests inside the structure do to recent suicides. This was an issue that was not foreseen by the architect, which poses an interesting question and dilemma for future architects and designers in better considering these situations while carrying out their artistic vision.
