Launched in Detroit This Summer, A Black-Led Mural Festival Wants to Revitalize Neighborhoods with Public Art

These murals in Detroit were initiated to embrace public engagement, encouraging involvement of different communities. This reminded me of a project that I will be doing for one of my nursing courses. For the project, I will have to do research on various murals in Philadelphia and focus on one that depicts social determinants of health of the community. I am interested in learning more about how the art of a community represents the residents.
